Research & Publications
My academic and scientific interests sit at the intersection of oral health and systemic medicine, developed through clinical practice, ongoing Master's research, and national congress presentations.
Current Research
I am completing a Master's degree in Medical Sciences, with research focused on integrating oral health into high-complexity medical care. This field remains underexplored despite its direct impact on patient outcomes in critical and oncological settings.
Scientific Presentations
11th International Conference on Dentistry and Oral Health
London, UK | September 18–20, 2025
“Hospital Dentistry in the ICU: A Reality in Brazil”
Presented at an international congress in London, this oral presentation introduced the clinical model of hospital dentistry, integrated into intensive care unit routines, to an international audience of dental and healthcare professionals. The presentation drew on 8 years of institutional experience at Complexo Américas Hospitals in Brazil, addressing the role of structured oral care for critically ill patients and its impact on the prevention of hospital-acquired respiratory infections — positioning hospital dentistry not as an adjunct but as a core component of ICU patient safety.
